This website, drguilhermecabral.com, is run by Dr. Guilherme Cabral, a dentist based in Brazil. He decides how the personal data described here is used.

What we collect

There is no form to fill in on this site. We learn about your visit from the tools listed below:

• the pages you view, how far you scroll and what you click
• how much of the open lesson you watch
• technical details your browser sends, such as IP address, device and browser type

If you message us on WhatsApp, we see your number and what you write.

The tools we use

• Google Tag Manager loads the other tools on this list.
• Google Analytics 4 counts visits, scrolling, clicks and lesson viewing, so we can see which pages help you.
• Meta Pixel records visits, visits to the course page, clicks on the buy button and lesson viewing. We use it to measure our ads and to show our ads again, on Facebook and Instagram, to people who visited.
• Google Ads shows our ads again to people who visited and records clicks on the buy button.
• Google Search Console tells us how people find this site in Google search.
• Vercel hosts the site and keeps technical access logs, such as IP address and time of request, to run and protect it.
• YouTube plays the videos on some pages. YouTube may set cookies when a video loads.

Each of these companies also handles the data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and your choice

If you visit from the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads stay off until you click Accept. If you click Reject, we use only what the site needs to work. Videos from YouTube may still set their own cookies when you play them.

Everywhere else, these tools run by default. Wherever you are, you can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of the page, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Buying the course

The course is sold and delivered through Hotmart. When you click to buy, you leave this site for Hotmart's checkout at pay.hotmart.com, and Hotmart handles your payment and purchase details under its own privacy policy.

Hotmart also tells Meta that a purchase happened, through the Meta Pixel on its checkout and directly from its servers (Meta's Conversions API). We use this to see which ads lead to a purchase.

Why we are allowed to use it

For visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland:

• Analytics and advertising tools: your consent, given with the Accept button.
• Hosting logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure.
• WhatsApp messages: our legitimate interest in answering you.
• Your purchase: to give you the course you bought.

Where your data goes

We and the providers above may process your data outside your country, including in the United States and Brazil.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics keeps visit data for 14 months. The other providers keep data as their own policies describe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• show you the data we hold about you
• correct it
• delete it
• stop using it
• send it to you in a format you can reuse

You can also withdraw your consent at any time. This does not undo anything done before you withdrew it.

If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to a data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab)); in the EU, the authority in your country.

Children

This site is for dental professionals. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
